Along the journey

During my trip and certainly before and after I am going to tell about what I find along the journey. Topics may be material, travel planning, thoughts and emotions, and anything else which comes along and I find interesting enough. I am looking forward to any reaction, any thought, and any comment by you, dear reader.

A refreshing night followed by a fine breakfast. I already praised the B&B in the last article. One notices that Sarah simply makes everything a little bit better. The coffee is more aromatic, the fruit salad fresher, there is delicious smoked salmon for breakfast. I like it here and find it even more regrettable that I have to find another accommodation for the second evening in Durness. For the first time I will stay in a hostel. An experience as well.

Let it be forgotten, the sanitary scandal. Cheers to the chopping at the Chicken Yard!

Today's stage actually just led me along the famous Loch Ness. Fort Augustus, the small place where I spent the night, is something like the southern border town to Loch Ness. My plan was to make it to Fortrose today, north-east of Inverness. There is not only a remarkable golf course, but also a lighthouse, at whose base larger groups of people meet regularly.

After the great course of the day yesterday, a relaxation day was planned for today anyway. At first I had to get over the fact that the heavy rain that woke me up was only occasionally replaced by less heavy rain.

Nothing really happened on the stage from Fort William to Fort Augustus.
